Katy, In response to your "non-apology": An "apology" would perhaps be more like "I'm sorry "I" was offensive", NOT, "I'm sorry "YOU" were offended." One way takes responsibility for ones own action, while the other way deflects personal responsibility and BLAMES the receiver! If you "are" sorry then just post things that are uplifting or funny remembrances. There are plenty of those occasions. LIKE: (Only the Stewartites will remember this)... when in 2nd grade, Mrs Lewis rocked Charles Rose like a baby!! We were stunned!! She made her her point!! Btw: I challenge someone to find Charles!! He moved to Chicago and disappeared!!
How about the assembly when Jon Jeppson walked into the gym, using his new prosthetic leg that East High Leopards, in a spirit of love, helped purchase for him. THAT was a very touching experience!! Recently I spoke with him about that day and he got tears in his eyes as he said he would never forget that act of love. Hopefully we can keep that spirit here!!
