William (Bill) Ortiz, age 63 passed away on March 5, 2015 in Murray, Utah surrounded by loving family. He was born April 2, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York to Felix Ortiz and Grace Coniglario. Married his high school sweetheart, Mary Simpson, on August 17, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Bill was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was a plumber by trade. He was a faithful member of the LDS Crescent Park 6th Ward where he served as Cub Master for over 25 years. Bill loved the outdoors, especially the times spent at their cabin (Buffalo Ridge). He was adored by his many nieces, nephews and cub scouts. 
Bill is survived by his loving wife Mary, brothers, Kenny, Kyle and Nathan and sisters, Tina and Yevette. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Felix (Butch). 
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Crescent Park 6th Ward, 10885 South Pampas Drive (835 East) Sandy, Utah. A visitation will be Monday, from 6-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road and Tuesday, 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service at the ward. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
