Rolf Helmut Berger 1951 ~ 2009 Rolf Helmut Berger, 58, passed away at his home on December 28, 2009 surrounded by his family after a bout with cancer.Rolf is survived by his beloved wife, Carla McBride Berger, children David Rolf Berger, Nicholas James Berger (Jessica), Joseph Helmut Berger (Amanda), and Alisa Jane Saba (Bryan). His grandchildren, Alexis, Andrew, Madeline, Avery, and Lily adored their grandfather and were the delight of his life. He is preceded in death by daughter Katherine Johanna and his parents Helmut and Gerda Berger. Rolf was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked as an attorney for the law firm of Kirton & McConkie. Rolf served many selflessly, and will be greatly missed. A viewing will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens at 1950 East and 10600 South on Wednesday, December 30 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at the LDS Chapel at 9855 South 2300 East on Thursday, December 31 at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LDS Church's Perpetual Education Fund.
