Maureen Kleone Littlefield Obituary Maureen Kleone Littlefield, 51, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 27, 2002 in Salt Lake City. Mo was born on August 19, 1951 in Salt Lake City. Her parents were David Lamar Littlefield and Kleone Elayne Littlefield with whom she is now reunited. She spent her life in Salt Lake City, attending East High School and the University of Utah. She worked for more than 25 years at Qwest Communications where she held several positions, her last as manager in information technology. She has spent the last year in retirement where she has had the opportunity to more fully share her life and talents with others. Mo truly enjoyed life, living her life fully. Mo loved the arts-- movies, music, poetry, theater - and those involved in the creation of art. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities. At the time of her death, she was President of the LeGrand Ward Relief Society, continuing in her parents' role of inspiration and leadership there for over a half century. Mo loved the Gospel, but loved most of all the people she served. She was especially concerned about the elderly and those who did not have immediate family support. Her intoxicating appreciation for life endeared her to those with whom she came in contact. Mo had a wealth of knowledge about people, culture, language and life which would often amaze those around her. The earth has been blessed by Mo's presence. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Mo is survived by her brother, David Emery (Carol Hansen) Littlefield, three nephews: Aaron, Sam and Alex; a niece, Carrie; one grand nephew, Quincy; cousin Marilyn McGrew and family; in addition to many dear friends with whom she shared her life. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30th at noon at LeGrand Ward, 1078 South McClelland (1040 East) in Salt Lake City. Published in Salt Lake Tribune on Aug. 29, 2002
