Brad Willis

1951 ~ 2025

Holladay, UT-Brad was born on March 6, 1951, in Lovell, WY, to Jess Crosby Willis and Harvene Safford. He passed peacefully in Holladay, UT on February 13, 2025, at the age of 73, from complications of pancreatic cancer.

Brad dedicated his career to the Utah Court System, retiring in 2009 as Clerk Of The Court. In retirement, his favorite pastime was walking his beloved dog, Murphy, in Springville Canyon.

Brad loved the outdoors, travel, and the "finer things" in life. He took pride in working on his home and filling it with art and antiques.

He was a loving, loyal friend and adored his family. Ever the gentleman, he was loved by all who knew him.

Brad is preceded in death by his parents, niece (Laura Willis Spencer), and his cat (Dr. Forbes). He is survived by his loyal companion, Murphy, brother, sister, four nieces, two nephews, and fifteen great-nieces and nephews. He leaves a big hole in all of our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S. Highland Dr, Holladay, UT 84117 on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Humane Society.

Brad was such a great guy.  I saw him often as he clerked for 3rd District Court Judges. He always had a smile on his face and an uplifting comment that made me feel better even on my worst days.  He will be missed but not forgotten.
