Stephen Samuel Breeze 1951 ~ 2011 Stephen Samuel Breeze passed from this life on Feb. 7, 2011 in Grand Coulee, WA after a battle with cancer. He learned old fashioned ethics and responsibility from his grandparents in Beaver, Utah where he spent many summers. In addition to his children and grandchildren he is survived by sister Marianne Orton of Monroe, Utah and brother Robert of Salt Lake. Steve found religion later in his life and loved the Lord and was a faithful member of his church. Many thanks to Cancer Care Northwest in Spokane. His friends in Utah will meet for a wake at a time to be scheduled. Please contact Reed Madsen, 801-277-0141 for details.

I was sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I have a lot of fond memories growing up with Steve. I was fortunate to have been able to visit with him when he was in town for the 40th reunion. I am sure he will be missed, especially by those he touched during his years in the school system.

I found this nice article about Steve in The Star - Online:

There is also a short obituary here:

Many capers with Lumpy, Gentile, Horsely, the Oz, Spicky, Reed , Bruce  and Ray Peterson.  One Sunday after a particularly strenuous softball game we all decided to head up to Hobbs Pond by Lagoon for a refreshing dip and some cool beveridges.  Sun worshippers that we were, we took to the water au naturale.  The police were notified and we were all ticketed and informed that people of our ilk were not welcome in their community.

I was blessed to see Steve at the reunion.  A great and humble man.  You are missed, Steve.
